Holy guacamole! Where on earth has the time gone?! I feel like we just finished stuffing ourselves to the brim with turkey and all the fixings. This year I have super stressed over Christmas gifts, but I’m finally content with my decisions for everyone. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has stressed over gifts, so I thought I’d post some good ideas for gifts for the people in your life.
- Boyfriend, man-friend, what have ya: I’m all about spending time with a significant other, so I think tickets for the two of you to a sporting event is the perfect gift if your guy is into sports. Most of the time you can come across fairly cheap tickets on sites like StubHub, Ticket Liquidator, and also TicketMaster. Purchase one for each of you so you can tag along with him. This may put you up for the “Girlfriend of the Year” award, so be prepared.
- Mom: I never know what to get my mom, but thankfully she drops hints here and there. Even with her hints, I still like to get her something she isn’t going to expect. This year I took some photos I had of us together and had someone edit them as though they were professionally done. If you happen to know some art or photography students (like I do) then there is your easy peasy solution. When I get the pictures they’re going to go into a nice frame and straight to the wrapping paper!
- Dad: If you’re dad is like mine, you literally have NO CLUE what to get him. My dad is the kind of guy that goes out and buys something when he needs or wants it. The man has everything! So this year my mom and I are trying to collaborate on his gift, but we still have no idea. I usually just ask and he gives me a few ideas. Worse comes to worse go for a Home Depot, Lowes, Cabela’s or Bass Pro Shop gift card!
- Roommate: My roommate and I are a lot alike, so getting her gift was pretty easy. Vera Bradley has TONS of cute things that make perfect Christmas gifts and so does my friend Square|Peg|Meg with hair accessories galore!
- Boss: If your boss owns the business that you work at like mine, then this might be perfect for you. I work at a small Public Relations firm in a small town outside the DC area. This year I’m having a picture of the business sign taken and framed. This is a personal gift and a lot of thought can go into this. I’m so excited to watch her freak when she gets it!
That is all for now, if you want any more tips on gifts just let me know! And have a very Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
xoxo
